Event Details

Join us on Wednesday evening to watch the feature length film "A Good Neighbor". The documentary is about a Latina single mother’s fight against racism and climate change as she campaigns for city council in one of the nation’s most polluted zip codes. 

 

Stick around after the film, to ask any questions you may have for the subject of the film, Lucy Molina, the filmmaker, Maggie Hartmans, and nonprofit organizations Cultivando and Green Latinos who are working hard for environmental justice. 


Food and beverages will be provided!

Lucy Molina


Lucy is a community activist, a former candidate for Commerce City Council, and her favorite is being a Mother for her two children. With the heart of a Mother, she has been fighting for environmental justice in her community and throughout the State. Holding one of the biggest polluters in our state, Suncor, accountable for their many criminal activities. Lucy will not stop fighting against environmental racism, polluters and unjust policies and laws that are detrimental to our future. Hablo Español.

Farsighted Creative was founded in 2020 by Maggie Hartmans and Brittany Zampella, two best friends who couldn’t stop dreaming about making the world a better place through films and visual storytelling.
